cupcakes, costumes, and cute nails

while i was looking up photos for my nail nuances post, i came across the precious little manicure at right. i didn't feature it as a trend, but i couldn't help but think these nails would have been perfect for my halloween costume last year (see below). and just for kicks, i looked up a few more cupcake manicures. while some were quite atrocious, i did find these adorable nails via cupcake's clothes.

(i made my costume with a few pieces of fabric, hot glue, and a lot of patience. i was very proud of the final result!)
